Haiti Mission Trip with Healing Place Church

I know that I am called to missions. I had the opportunity to go to Swaziland, Africa in June 2012  with Children's Cup and it was amazing. God wrecked me from the inside out. I went to Africa to provide hope, be a  helping hand, and foster a change and it is incredible to think that by the time I left I was the one who changed the most. While I was there, the peace of God overwhelmed me. It was as if God was telling me, "This is just a glimpse of what I have in store for you. You like?" and my answer is "Yes!" I can hear God telling me go. Go out into the world and share the Hope of God with others. All I want to do is honor God with my life and now I hear God directing me to go to Haiti. I am seeking people to support and partner with me. I will be assisting in a soccer and basketball camp in Grand Goave, Haiti, which was 90% effected by the earthquake in January 2010. The best part about this trip is that I get to visit a special needs orphanage!!!! I actually believe God is calling me to establish a special needs orphanage in South Africa in the future, so that would be an amazing opportunity to actually visit an special needs orphanage in a third world country.  If you feel led to donate please do! You are Valued

God is doing so much in  my life. At first, I was broken and He took my ashes and  literally started creating something beautiful. I know that I am found in the love of God and that my worth is set in Christ. Someone or something's worth is set by how much a person will pay for it. There is no worth in a material unless worth has been placed on it. Well, Christ literally paid the price of blood for me! So, that makes me valued above diamonds and rubies. I was worth everything to God, so I am going to act like I have worth and I will not live a meaningless life, because if God gave me everything than should I not do the same? I will sacrifice all I have to take up His purpose and life for me.

It's so exciting to know that God loves us and placed value on our lives through the blood of Christ. When Adam and Eve ate from the fruit of good and evil, sin enter the world and just like a disease it has been genetically passed down to all of us. Sin is something that separates us from God. God requires us to be without blemish to enter His Kingdom and despite the fact that we will try to admen for our sins our sins are not erased. Just because we do something good doesn't mean the bad we done has disappeared. Our sin cost us death and were deemed to be thrown all in hell, because when Adam ate of the fruit of good and evil he gave dominion to the devil and we belonged to him. But God, saw what he made and said it was "good" and though we make mistakes we are not a mistake to God! From the beginning of time He had a plan to redeem us from our debt. He planned to send his son, Jesus, who came from Him, to die for our sins as a payment to the devil, so that we can have life and life more abundantly!

The Blood of Jesus is like snow that covers ALL our sins and now God sees us without blemish for Jesus has purified us and we are now considered holy. When Jesus died on the cross "it was finished!" Now all we have to do is accept the payment that Christ gave to us and be born again. We need to be born again because we are dying to our own attempts to become holy and our own flesh and taking up life in the blood of Christ. Our salvation is all through grace! We deserved death but received life because God loved us enough to send His only begotten Son, so that we can have life and life more abundantly (John 3:16).

What's even more astounding is that God decided to not to just save us from our sins, but give us the Holy Spirit, (part of the Trinity of God), who is God in the Spirit and now resides inside of us.

 John 14:26 says^{: 26}But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

The Holy Spirit speaks truth to us and we now have compass wherever we go! Wow, God is so good and though you may not feel loved all the time, you are, and though you may not feel blessed, you are. Live a life of worth, because you are valued by the Most High God!
